Introduction

Hey there, I’m Zongbin.

If you'd like to get a quick measure of my character, how I operate, think, and discuss, continue reading. Otherwise, feel free to check out my other posts. Thank you for giving me your time.

I absolutely hate misinformation.

Misinformation about health means that in the best case, it does not work and you feel indifferent, and in the worse case potentially harm you--insidiously too. I don’t want to waste your time, or my time, misinforming you about what actually influences your health. Unfortunately, there’s endless cartloads of B.S. out there about pretty much every topic you can think about (health, nutrition, finance, investing, tech, etc.). Worst of all, the greatest perpetrators of misinformation may turn out to be the incumbent authorities and institutions that curate our guidelines. In an era of information surfeit, how does one navigate themselves to finding the truth on what they care about? Luckily, one need only the power of a stable internet connection and a willingness to dig deep and ask the right questions.

I volunteer as tribute

On the topic of all things related to health because:

  1. As of writing, I am currently on track to becoming an accredited nutritional therapist, so there is much incentive for educating myself thoroughly on all related fields

  2. I enjoy maintaining vibrant vitality and energy for all my pursuits of life, especially rock climbing—my raison d'être, which I confidently attest to my increased awareness and knowledge about my lifestyle

  3. I naturally have a strong interest in this field and therefore enjoy seeking out information that works

  4. I’m taking this task as a personal challenge to hone my knife’s edge and peek under the Emperor's New Clothes

  5. As the saying goes, knowledge is useless unless you share it.

Be Skeptical Of what I say

I welcome anyone receiving anything from me to try and take down what I say. I encourage all my readers to be skeptical of the information that I am providing. If you doubt me and feel the need to discuss, please do your own due diligence and verify whether the evidence aligns with my discussion before leaving thoughtless feedback.

I am committed to open and honest dialogue, and to discussing the quality of evidence and new ideas. I would be supremely grateful to anyone presenting the truth if I were unknowingly propagating lies. However, where there lacks substantial high-quality (unadulterated/unbiased) primary evidence, we will have to rely on our common sense and perhaps the wisdom of ancient traditions around the world. I am aware that I most certainly will be wrong about something and am ready to have everything I know fly out the window at a moment’s notice if the truth presents itself.

Welcome to Walden Health.
